When I first discovered the Invicta Angel watch I wasn’t very impressed – I have to be honest I’m not too taken with the plastic watch trend that many watch makers are turning to in order to catch the wrist of younger watch buyers. The Angel plastic watches are very popular so that is the first Angel watch I discovered. But the truth is the Invicta Angel watch collection is much more complex than the plastic or rubber watches that are so popular.
Introducing the Diamond Invicta Angel Watch
The offerings in the 2015 Invicta Angel line are quite enticing, if not a bit confusing with the various eclectic styles to choose from. An eye catcher for sure is the Invicta Angel Diamond Andraste with 18kt gold plating, flame fusion crystal and 42 white diamonds set on the index positions. In several color combinations the Diamond Andraste is sure to please and takes my top pick with the Invicta 0773 Angel watch with a stunning purple face and matching purple calf skin band.
Another Angel diamond watch offering is the Invicta Angel Diamond Chronograph (Models 0577-0582) which is a very sharp chronograph watch with 12 diamonds on the top ring in a four prong jeweler’s setting. The Invicta Angel Chrono features the sunray dial in a veritable cornucopia of colors with mother of pearl sub dials. True to form with the Invicta dive watch tradition the Invicta Diamond Chronograph is water resistant to 100 meters. The slightly more dressy diamond Andraste is still water resistant to 50 meters so offers protection from splashes and a bit of rain, just don’t go deep sea diving because this angel likes to fly not swim.
If your style leans more toward the elegant dress watch you’ll be pleased to make the acquaintance of the Diamond Angel Elegance watch (model range 0584-0589). The Angel Elegance is a bit more subdued dress watch that has a classy calf skin band and a stainless steel case with flame fusion crystal and 20 white diamonds hand set on the four corner case lugs. The Angel Elegance is a bit hard to find but a very attractive treasure if you do.
Fusion of Sport and Elegance with the 0498 Diamond Invicta Angel watch
Do you love diamond watches but have a more casual sporty sense of style? If so you’ll love the Invicta Diamond Angel Quartz line of watches in model range 0493-0498. This diamond Invicta Angel watch has a stunning array of 51 diamonds on the index positions yet has the sporty unidirectional rotating bezel like a dive watch and sports a surprisingly comfortable polyurethane strap. Along with the unconventional strap and classy diamond combination this quartz Invicta Angel watch has a dive depth of 100 meters so you can play in the pool while flashing a little bling.
If you consider yourself a smart shopper this is definitely the watch for you at 1/4 the price as other high end watches with diamonds. (Also Amazon usually has it for quite a bit lower than other online sellers, but do your due diligence and shop around to find the best deal.)
You’ll love the little details that go into the 5337 including the little blue jewel on the crown, the subtle two-tone finish on the stainless steel band, the glow in the dark hour markers for superb viewing at night, and of course the sparkle of the small diamonds around the bezel.
A Little Bling at a More Affordable Price
If you are looking for an Invicta diamond watch on a budget the Invicta Angel 0488 might fit the bill. With a bit of a blingy cubic zirconia-encrusted rose design on the dial and a gold plated case it gives the look of a much higher end watch at a very affordable price. While overall this watch has a good rating there are some complaints about the band discoloring, but there is a fairly easy solution.
It seems some have very good luck with this Invicta diamond accented watch for a very long time and others not so much. Which is unfortunate as it is a nice looking invicta gold diamond watch with a lot of sparkle for under $75. The good news is that a new band is not that pricey so you could pick up a high quality leather band and you’d have a nice looking watch at a very nice price. You don’t even have to tell anyone the diamonds are not real.
