When choosing the right diving watch, racing watch, running watch and/or any type of sport watches for men or women you need to take a few factors into consideration. The wide availability of watch styles and features allows you to pick the sport watch that fits your needs, style, and taste perfectly but can be confusing to the novice. Will you use your watch to time your extreme sport, your daily commute, or your lunch break? Will it be mainly for decoration or function? Will it need to match your wardrobe or just one outfit? Here are some common uses for watches and some helpful tips to look for when buying sport watches for men or women.
Diving Sport Watches for Men and Women
Look for screw-down crowns and case backs and extreme water resistance. Also, a unidirectional bezel helps you keep an eye on how long you’ve been underwater. Some diving watches are water resistance to at least 330 feet or deeper, and can include features such as an oxygen setting and a rapid ascent warning. The Invicta Pro Diver is a good example of diving sport watches for men. Invicta has built their name on the quality of their dive watches. The Speedway Collection (the the Speedway 9212 watch at right) is another fine example of Invicta sport watches for men.
Invicta Chronograph Watches
Whether you’re on a bike, on foot, in a car or even in the water watches exist to help you measure your time. Some watches have rotating tachometers that can be adjusted to target your exact speed, then by setting the elapsed timer to pinpoint the distance you covered you can find your miles per hour. Some watches even store lap times and split times. And while I’m not aware of an Invicta GPS watch some of the more advanced sport watches for men and women offer GPS capabilities. Invicta offers chronograph watches in all of their collections so you have plenty of options when shopping for an Invicta chronograph watch. Take a look at these Invicta Chronograph watches for men and women.
Running Sport Watches
Look for sweat-resistant rubber cases and lap timers. These watches (men’s and women’s) are typically field tested to withstand the sweat, shock, and pounding of running. Many of these watches feature mineral crystals and water resistance to 330 feet. (in case you need to run under water)
Tip: When shopping for sport watches for men as well as for women make sure you know what features are important to you and don’t let yourself become overwhelmed by extras you know you won’t need.
